Why not use European services?
I’ve been asked a few times why I don’t ‘simply’ recommend European services.
The UK left the EU in January 2020, and this means that some of our legislation differs from our EU-based counterparts and will continue to ‘drift’ from EU law unless something changes.
So, if you’re a UK based business, and want to comply with UK laws, you may want to use services that are based in the UK, rather than anywhere else.
Aside from the legal implications, some people may simply prefer to ‘shop local’ - wanting to support UK businesses that pay tax and / or employ people in the UK.
